Caring for your shoes
How do I place an order on your website?
Add product to your cart. When you're ready to checkout, confirm your order details. Enter your billing and shipping information, and specify the type of shipping for your order. Re-confirm your order. That's it, you're done!
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Paypal.
Does Viscata ship to P.O. Boxes or Military APO/FPO addresses?
Yes via USPS.
How much does shipping and handling cost?
Viscata ships via Priority Mail USPS in the US and Parcel Post for International orders (outside of USA).
Shipping charges will be automatically calculated at checkout and will vary depending on the number of items purchased, where your order is being shipped and the type of shipping chosen. Please review the order total before confirming your purchase.
When can I expect my order to arrive?
In most cases, your order will ship the following business day Monday-Friday.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive your USPS tracking number via e-mail. Please allow up to 5 to 9 business days for domestic orders to arrive, and up to 25 days for international orders.
Can I cancel an order once it has been placed?
In an effort to get our shipments to our customers as quickly as possible, but if you send an immediate email to firstname.lastname@example.org we might be able to make the change for you, but we can’t guarantee it.
What is your exchange/return policy?
We accept exchanges and returns within 90 days of online purchase. We can only exchange/return products purchased from our website. We reserve the right to refuse worn or damaged merchandise. If you have questions contact email@example.com
How do I exchange my shoes?
You can either login to your account on the website and submit a return request and choose 'exchange item' or you can email firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know what you want to exchange for and we will contact you. We will then process your exchange promptly upon receipt of the shoes being exchanged. You will be notified via e-mail as soon as your replacement item has been shipped.
How do I return my shoes?
To return unworn shoes for a refund, please either login to your account on our website and follow the returns process or email email@example.com stating the problem with the shoes and we will let you know the next steps.
We will credit the credit card used for the purchase. We do not reimburse any duty/brokerage charges for international orders. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your billing statement.
What if I was shipped the wrong item(s)?
Please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the problem and we will be happy to correct our mistake.
Do Viscata shoes fit true to size?
Yes, we fit fit true to size, however, for the flats we recommend you go ½ size higher.
After a few hours of wearing Viscata, they will stretch slightly to conform to your feet.
Please try your pair on a carpeted surface to keep them as clean as possible until you know they are the correct size. We do not accept returns or size exchanges on shoes that show wear or use.
In what widths are Viscata shoes available?
Viscata shoes are available in medium width.
Can I order from your website if I live outside of the U.S.?
Yes. If you cannot place the order via viscataespadrilles.com then please email email@example.com.
Please be sure to include the country you are inquiring about in the subject line of your e-mail.
I forgot my login ID and/or password.
Select "forgot password" at the account login. Enter the e-mail address registered for your Viscata account on our website and a link to reset your password will be e-mailed to you.
How do I update my account information (Shipping Address)?
Log-in to your account at the top of the page. Under “Account Details“ click on “View addresses” there you can add, edit, delete or update your address/shipping information.

What if my shoes get wet?
Because the sole of the shoe is covered in natural rubber the bottom is protected from water. However, if you notice the jute rope has gotten slightly wet, just place the shoes where they can air dry.
How do I clean my shoes?
Hand wash them in cold water with a gentle detergent and let them air dry. They will mold to your feet again after some use.
Where can I find a retailer that carries Viscata shoes?
Viscata shoes are not available on the high street directly.

Where are Viscata shoes manufactured?
All our shoes are manufactured in Spain, and are all hand-made.
