We have five main types of materials that we use to make our beautiful Viscata
espadrilles and shoes - leather, jute, suede, canvas and recycled materials.
100% natural jute
We use 100% natural jute in every pair of espadrilles we sell. Jute is one of the worldās most efficient crops, reaching maturity in less than 6 months.
The perfect natural material for an eco-friendly retailer such as Viscata.
100% organic cotton canvas. Naturally.
All our organic canvas is produced from natural fibers and is GOTS certified.
This helps us to lower water & energy consumption, minimize waste and reduce our usage of chemicals.
Recycled
For creativity on some of our exclusive designs, we use plastic for some of the details. However, we make sure itās recycled plastic.
