Gingham Espadrilles

Gingham is making yet another comeback and right now, it’s red hot. This popular pattern was first popularized by Bridget Bardot back in the 1940s when her gingham dresses blended simplicity with sophistication. This year, gingham is once again in fashion. Gingham first appeared as a simple print pattern in 17th century Malaysia where it was adapted by the British. They took the striped effect of the original pattern and evolved it into its now instantly recognized checks. The result is a drop dead gorgeous pattern that adds a little casual elegance to our beautiful shoes.
